ESPN has now updated their Top 60 for the class of 2017 for the first time since expanding the list from a Top 25. There are a number of Providence targets littered throughout this Top 60 list and many of them play their high school and prep ball in New England. It will be interesting to see what players in the class of 2017 Providence becomes involved with because of new assistant coach Jeff Battle.

- #11 – Hamidou Diallo – 6’4 SG – Putnam Science Academy/Queens, NY (up from #30)
- #30 – Jordan Tucker – 6’7 SF – Stepinac/White Plains, NY (down from #28)
- #35 – Makai Ashton-Langord – 6’2 PG – Cushing Academy/Worcester, MA (up from NR)
- #36 – Tremont Waters – 5’11 PG – South Kent/South Kent, CT (same)
- #40 – Jermaine Samuels – 6’6 SF – Rivers School/Franklin, MA (down from #35)
- #44 – Quade Green – 5’11 PG – Neumann-Goretti HS/Philadelphia, PA (down from #43)
