Opening Line: Providence -2 vs Georgetown 1/10/15
Coming off a 1-1 road trip and 2-1 overall start to the Big East season Providence welcomes Georgetown to the Dunk for an early afternoon tip off on Saturday. The Friars opened as a slight favorite at -2. The line was bet up to -3.5 shortly after it opened. Stay tuned for updates as they happen and the total amount once that’s available.
UPDATE: 6:01pm – The line has moved down to -2.5.

Last night there was just 1 game that could help boost the Friars’ RPI. The results was 0-1. Brown went on the road at New Hampshire last night and fell to the Wildcats, 68-61.
There is 1 game tonight for PC to get some RPI assistance.

Bracketology Update 1/9/15
Joe Lunardi and Jerry Palm both released updated brackets on Monday this week. Lunardi released his “Bracket Math” on Thursday and now Palm has decided to update his bracket again on Friday morning. Palm’s Monday bracket had just 5 Big East teams in the field of 68. I’m not sure what exactly changed between Monday and Friday that was so significant but Palm is now mirroring Lunardi’s latest “Bracket Math” with 8 Big East teams in the NCAA Tournament field with DePaul getting in as a 15 seed as the automatic qualifier because they sit atop the league standings at 3-0 right now.
