Providence will close out their season with a game at Madison Square Garden against a St. John’s team that they defeated way back on January 2nd at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center. Providence locks up the 4 seed in the Big East Tournament with a win against the Red Storm. The Friars are 15-14 ATS this season and the Red Storm are 12-18 ATS this season. Providence opened as an 8 point favorite against St. John’s.

Recruiting News: Rivals Releases Class Of 2018 Top 75 Recruit Rankings

Rivals released a Top 75 for the Class of 2018 on Friday and Providence has some of their targets on the list for this class that is made up of current high school sophomores. The list also includes some local New England prep products.

Big East Tournament Seed Watch Final Edition of 2016

All ten Big East teams are in action on Saturday and only half the league is locked into their Big East Tournament seed as of now. Providence, Butler, Creighton, Marquette and Georgetown have scenarios where they could move out of their current slots and I’ll detail all of those scenarios in this final edition of the Big East Tournament Seed Watch. The Big East Tournament begins on Wedneday, March 9th. The announcer pairings were released on Thursday afternoon and you can find the schedule of games below.

2016 Big East Tournament Announcer Pairings Revealed

Fox Sports released the announcer pairings for the 2016 Big East Tournament on Thursday. As was the case last season, Gus Johnson and Bill Raftery will handle the Wednesday and Thursday night games. Raftery will then head off to the Big Ten Tournament and Jim Jackson will replace him with Johnson for the semifinals on Friday night and the finals on Saturday. Justin Kutcher and Jackson will call the Thursday afternoon games. The finals are being played at 5:30pm ET this season and will be on FOX. All other games will air on Fox Sports 1. Molly McGrath will also be roaming the sidelines for each game. Rob Stone, Steve Lavin and Donny Marshall will be in attendance at MSG for pre-game, halftime and post-game analysis.
