Week 15 of the college basketball polls have been released and Providence has fallen again, but remained inside the top 25 after a 1-1 week that included a double OT loss at Marquette and a home win against Georgetown. This is the first time Providence has been ranked in the AP Poll for 12 straight weeks since the 1977-78 season when the Friars spent the final 13 weeks ranked in the AP Top 25. The Friars have certainly been up and down in league play. They started 4-2 in the first third of the schedule and followed that up with a 2-4 record in the second third — though 1 of their 2 wins in the second third came on the road at Villanova.
