The first July live evaluation period has arrived and the Providence coaching staff will be out and about stalking down talented future Friars all across the country over the next few days. A live evaluation period means college coaches are allowed to attend and evaluate recruits at certified events. This particular evaluation period begins on July 6th at 5pm and is active through 5pm on July 10th. Nike has their EYBL Peach Jam, which is their playoffs and adidas finishes off their Gaunlet series. Under Armour’s finale event is later in July so they will be hosting their All-America Camp this week in Charlotte.

This weekend kicks off the real recruiting season for members of the class of 2017 and beyond because starting on April 15th a live evaluation period officially begins. A live evaluation period means college coaches are allowed to attend and evaluate recruits at certified events.
