Providence Adds Postgrad Guard Ricky Council to 2015 Class

Providence has been looking to add another guard in the 2015 class for awhile now and there have been some names that popped up over the last few months. Council was a member of the class of 2014 back then and was little known nationally as he had opted to remain at his local public school and play for an AAU team in Brand X that wasn’t sponsored by any of the big shoe companies. The Friar staff opted not pull the trigger on an offer to Council back then.

That changed on Monday night.

To compare that to another point guard Ed Cooley targeted in 2015 Justin Robinson is ranked 86th by Scout.com and 129th by 247sports composite national ranking.
