Monday means new brackets from both Joe Lunardi and Jerry Palm. Lunardi dropped 1 Big East team out of his bracket so that the league now has 6 teams in the field. Palm still has 7 Big East teams in but Xavier remains in the precarious “Last Four In” category.
Joe Lunardi will be doing a weekly Saturday article with his “Bracket Math” and then he’ll breakdown the weekend’s most important games with teams that would be “In With a Win”, “Out Without” and who has the “Most at Stake” which could describe a team that would lose any chance of getting into the NCAA Tournament or just a team whose seeding could be affected by a win or loss.
Here is a breakdown of Palm’slatest “Bracket Math”:
Joe Lunardi’s latest bracket and “Bracket Math” came out on Thursday and Jerry Palm has now released his latest bracket since his last release on Monday of this week. Palm and Lunardi vary a bit on how they seed some Big East teams but both have 7 Big East teams in their fields.
ESPN’s Joe Lunardi released his latest bracket and “Bracket Math” Thursday with games through January 21st. Lunardi has 7 Big East teams in the field after only having 6 in on his bracket released on Monday this week and the league also is dominating the 6 seed line.
This also seems like as good a time as any to re-introduce a section of these bracketology update posts that will continue from now on and that is the section that uses information from BracketMatrix.com. More on that below.
