Providence College Athletics invites you to join Providence College President, Rev. Brian J. Shanley, O.P. ’80, Athletic Director Bob Driscoll along with head men’s basketball coach Ed Cooley, at our annual BIG EAST Kick-Off Fundraiser hosted by Board of Trustee member Tom Boyan ’85. Food and beverages will be provided. In addition, The Ed Cooley radio show will broadcast live on sports radio 103.7 WEEI FM.
The minimum donation for this event is $500 per person. In addition, for all recent graduates (’09-’13) the cost for the event is $250 per person. Monthly payment plans are available for each price level over a 6 month period. Proceeds will go directly to support the Friar Athletic Fund.

For the Georgetown game on 2/10/14, the Capital Area Club in Washington, DC is hosting a pre-game gathering at the City Tap House from 5pm-7:30pm. I have attended a few of these and I have to say it’s a lot of fun watching a PC game with other PC alums and also meeting new people who share the common bond of loving the Friars. Pre-game reception – Alumni ticket packages are $50/person, which includes food and a game ticket at Allstate Arena. If you already have a game ticket, admission to the reception is $20/person. Children 12 & Under are FREE to the reception but a game ticket must be purchased.
