There were 2 games yesterday that could help boost the Friars’ RPI. The results were 1-1. Florida State went on the road and was held to just 41 points by Virginia in a 51-41 loss in Charlottesville. Navy took care of Holy Cross by the score of 84-70.
Joe Lunardi came out with his regular Thursday bracket update and now Jerry Palm is out with his Friday bracket update. Lunardi and Palm both have 6 teams in from the Big East but Palm is higher on St. John’s than Lunardi and they also disagree on seed lines for a couple other Big East schools.

There were 4 games yesterday in addition to Providence’s own at DePaul that could help boost the Friars’ RPI. The results were 3-1. Xavier went crosstown and defeated Cincinnati, 59-57. Miami protected their home court against Virginia Tech, 76-52. Binghamton got their 5th win of the season against Vermont, 57-55. Navy fell at home to Lehigh, 59-53.

There were 2 games yesterday that could help boost the Friars’ RPI. The results were 2-0. Kentucky continued their unbeaten streak to 26 as they beat Tennessee on the road, 66-48. Notre Dame beat Wake Forest at home, 88-75, behind 24 points and 10 assists from Jerian Grant.
