Joe Lunardi is now apparently releasing Wednesday brackets now. I believe he plans on released updated brackets every single day during the final week of the season. The Big East still has 6 teams in the field though there has been some movement along the seed lines.

Joe Lunardi’s Monday bracket is out and he still has 6 teams in the field from the Big East. Xavier is on the bracket as an 8 seed but the Musketeers were moved down a line and swapped spots with Ole Miss due to principals and procedures rules as Xavier could have potentially met Butler in the Round of 32. That can’t happen because the principles and procedures document states “teams from the same conference shall not meet prior to the regional semifinals (Sweet 16) if they played each other twice during the regular season and conference tournament.”

It’s been a couple of weeks since the last Big East Bracketology update and there has been a few significant changes throughout the conference over that span. Seton Hall has taken a nosedive while Butler, Providence and Georgetown continue to look like NCAA Tournament locks with each passing day.
