The calendar has turned to March and that means NCAA Tournament brackets are coming soon. After my dismal performance in year 1 of trying to put together a bracket, I thought I’d come back for more punishment and give this bracketology thing a shot again in 2016. Here is my first bracket of the season.
The automatic qualifiers are based on the conference standings through games on February 29th.

With the NCAA Selection Sunday show airing Sunday beginning at 6pm on CBS it’s all about who, what and where for Friar fans. Who will Providence play? What will their seed be? Where will the game be played? Providence will host a viewing party open to the public at Alumni Hall on their campus Sunday with doors opening at 5:30pm. In the meantime, let me know your thoughts on where Providence should be seeded for the NCAA Tournament (note I’m using 4-8 because that’s the range on BracketMatrix.com right now:
After a hiatus from creating a bracket I’m back with my latest attempt. We are now 24 days away from Selection Sunday and teams will be looking to finish their league season’s strong over the next few weeks. Note that my bracket is now part of the Bracket Matrix so head over there and see how mine compares to 80+ brackets submitted to that site.
The automatic qualifiers are based on the conference standings through games on February 18th.

This is week 2 of me attempting to build a bracket. Try to remember that when commenting and getting after me on Twitter but I appreciate all the feedback. I’ll give you my S-curve as well as try to seed teams while following the NCAA Selection Committee’s guidelines for seeding. I’ll try to do this post at least once a week as the season progresses and maybe more frequently as Selection Sunday gets closer. Note that my bracket is now part of the Bracket Matrix.
The automatic qualifiers are based on the conference standings through games on February 2nd.

With Bracket Matrix up to 73 brackets reporting right now I figured why not try to create my own bracket to see how I do against the rest of the field. I’ll give you my S-curve as well as try to seed teams while following the NCAA Selection Committee’s guidelines for seeding. I’ll try to do this post at least once a week as the season progresses.
The automatic qualifiers are based on the conference standings through games on January 26th.
