Thoughts from the Road: Plenty of Blame to Go Around, Big Picture Still Positive
Thoughts from the long drive home from Columbus…
- I’m not going to spend a ton of time talking about the game itself because everyone is probably already all talked and read out about it. Let me say a few things that I believe to be true. The officiating was poor. The technical foul called on Ed Cooley by Terry Ogelsby and the subsequent “explanation” given by NCAA coordinator of officials John Adams were poor. Providence Prepares for Dayton, Meets with the Media
Providence arrived in Columbus on Wednesday and were greeted by some Friar fans at the team hotel. After settling in the team watched the Dayton/Boise State game together in their film room at the hotel and “watch[ed] with an open mind” according to Carson Desrosiers. The team practiced Thursday morning with an eye on Dayton for the first time and LaDontae Henton, Kris Dunn, Tyler Harris, Carson Desrosiers and Ed Cooley met with the media Thursday afternoon around 5pm followed by another team practice.
Here are some of the highlights from that media session:
