Providence and Butler finish out the regular season at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center on Senior Day for the Friars. Providence beat Butler on the road earlier this season for one of the Friars’ 5 Big East road victories this year. This game has big implications in terms of seeding for the Big East Tournament. Both Providence and Butler are solidly in the field of 68 for the NCAA Tournament at this point so playing for seeding and pride is all that’s left.

Providence and Villanova will square off as a matchup of top 25 teams as the Friars cracked the top 25 of the AP poll for the first time since the 2003-04 season. Villanova is ranked 6th while the Friars are 25th. Villanova won the previous meeting this season at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center by the score of 74-68.
This game opened with the Friars as a road underdog at +11.5. This marks just the second time this season that the Friars have been a double-digit underdog. The only other time was at Kentucky when Providence was a 20 point underdog on November 30th.

Providence and Xavier square off on Saturday afternoon at the Cintas Center in Cincinnati. The Friars are looking to finish off their second straight season sweep after defeating the Georgetown Hoyas on Wednesday at the Verizon Center.
